Here's my story-

Wasn't smart (or motivated) enough to be in ROTC and so dropped out in '68 and volunteered for the draft. Went through Army Infantry OCS at Ft. Benning and was commissioned a 2d Lieutenant in 1969. Served in Vietnam as a platoon leader from Nov. '69 to Oct. '70 with the 199th Light Inftantry Bde. (Separate) including working with the 1st Cav during the incursion into Cambodia.
